Balanced support for Dahlias

Adjusting the height of Spirals is easy - any garden stake/wood/bamboo you can drill a small hole into the top of will accommodate the Spiral.  A few weeks ago I wound in a Spiral using the included stake into one of my Dahlias so I could admire the blooms on stems that were falling over.  Today in my garden stroll I noticed that I had missed a stem, and a bigger stake would better balance the plant, so I unwound a few turns as I lifted the Spiral and placed it on top of a bigger, taller stake.  Easy peasy problem solved!
